For over 30 years, Pamela has been an active member of the Darien community. She has served on the Board of At Home in Darien, the Darien Nature Center, and has held many positions at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She's chaired events including: Paint the Town Purple, Hunt for Hope Gala, Festival of Wreaths and Gathering of Angels. She coached youth Field Hockey and Lacrosse and helped expand the youth Field Hockey program so that every girl who wanted to play could.

As a Confirmation teacher at St. Luke's in Darien, Pamela emphasized the importance of giving ones time, talent and treasure to a cause that is meaningful and has given generously to causes in the name of her clients over the years. She also hopes to leave a legacy of excellence for her father Dr. Stephen D. Messner, a brilliant Real 星空体育官方网址 Academic who eventually passed with dementia.
